Listen to Dr. Andrea's interview with Sherry Jibb for her "Happy & Healthy in Midlife Summit." A favourite part was talking about how feelings of overwhelm cue your brain to go into protector mode. Use the science of how your brain works to overcome feelings of overwhelm so you can take on your *big* goals and aspirations. Your brain will always try to keep you safe and out of danger; so, it will avoid anything that is perceived as challenging. Call your brain out and work WITH it (instead of against it).
