Kanye West and his behavior over the last few weeks, and more so in the last few days, has caused people to feel confused, alarmed, sad, upset, frustrated, worried, pointing blame, and many other emotions. As he appears to be struggling with his mental health, many people have raised questions about Bi-Polar Disorder, and are seeking to better understand mental and emotional wellness.
In this episode, I breakdown everything you need to know about Bi-Polar Disorder in the Black Community. Why do most Black people go untreated and undiagnosed? Why are they behaving like that? Why are they saying that? I’m talking about it all, and giving tips on all the things you can, and can’t do to help when someone who you know is struggling with their mental health.
