Heaven is a real place. Created by God, it is where he currently resides. At this very moment, he is there, seated on His throne.

In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.
- Genesis1:1 NASB 1995

Behold, to the Lord your God belong heaven and the highest heavens, the earth and all that is in it.
- Deuteronomy 10:14 NASB 1995

We lift up our heart and hands Toward God in heaven;
- Lamentations 3:41 NASB 1995

Jesus Seated with God

So then, when the Lord Jesus had spoken to them, He was received up into heaven and sat down at the right hand of God.

God is seated in Heaven on his throne, and Jesus is seated with him. Where do we fit in?

even when we were dead in our transgressions, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), and raised us up with Him, and seated us with Him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, so that in the ages to come He might show the surpassing riches of His grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus.

We also meditate on the following verses: Deuteronomy 4:39, 1 Kings 8:23, 1 Kings 8:27, Psalm 115:3, Ecclesiastes 5:2, Daniel 2:28, and 1 Peter 3:22
