In this episode of the Defiant Health podcast, let me tell you about five things cardiologists will not tell you about heart health. Having practiced cardiology for 25 years, I learned what works and what does not work to prevent heart disease. Sadly, follow conventional health and diet advice from cardiologists and other doctors and you are following a recipe for developing heart disease, as well as type 2 diabetes, weight gain, fatty liver, and numerous other health conditions. Did you catch that? I’ll say it again: conventional diet and health advice CAUSES heart disease and other common health conditions.

Think of it: more than 80 million Americans now take statin drugs to reduce cholesterol. That must mean that heart disease, conditions like heart attack and sudden cardiac death, are declining—-but they’re not. Heart centers that deliver procedures like coronary angioplasty, stent implantation, and implantation of defibrillators are as busy as ever. After all, heart disease is the #1 money maker for hospitals. It means that heart disease is big business, a business driven by greed and the need to grow the business. It is most certainly not based on delivering health and prevention of heart disease. Given all that, what are you NOT being told by cardiologists and doctors? So let’s discuss that question in this episode of Defiant Health.
