If you are anything like most people, you spend about five hours per day on your phone skimming through emails, checking out your Facebook and Instagram feed and then there’s Linkedin, SnapChat and TikTok which might be the biggest time suck of all! You start scrolling and look up and an hour has gone by and you have accomplished NOTHING! You are mindlessly scrolling. Maybe you aren’t aware of it, but the only time you truly unplug is when you’re asleep at night. We are all guilty of doing this and just thinking about it makes me exhausted! Not only does it waste time, but phone addiction is also linked to depression and anxiety. There are so many other things you could be doing for the five hours you spend on your phone that will make you healthier both physically and mentally.
