Can NMN Supplements Lower Triglycerides?
Manage episode 358471607 series 2794967
Nicotinamide mononucleotide (NMN) is very popular in the world of anti-aging. NMN has been shown to raise cellular NAD levels. NAD is an energy molecule we make less of as we age. In theory, raising NAD levels in cells using NAD booster supplements like nicotinamide mononucleotide may help slow aging. NMN is also being investigated as a drug which is why some people feel it may be banned one day.
In this episode, let's review a study showing NMN lowers triglyceride levels - and its drawbacks.

Order My Rhabdo Book
Rhabdomyolysis is a painful and serious side effect of exercise that you need to know about. Unfortunately, most have never heard of rhabdo and unfortunately have ended up in the hospital because of it. Some people even needed dialysis and still, others have become terrified to exercise again. Education is the best defense. I've been teaching about rhabdo for over 10 years. If you are in the US, you can order it directly from me.
