In Recognition of suicide prevention month, I'm joined by Executive Director of "Suffer Out Loud” Danielle Sather" to bring awareness to suicide prevention and shine a light on critical issues surrounding mental health. As the conversation unfolds, we delve into the mission of "Suffer Out Loud," an organization focused on mental health awareness, suicide prevention, and suicide awareness. Dani shares the organization's origins and its dedication to breaking down barriers surrounding mental health. This episode also touches on the universal experience of grief and the significance of addressing mental health issues within diverse communities, especially for people of color. Join us for an engaging discussion on mental health advocacy, breaking the stigma around men's mental health, and the transformative power of embracing both light and darkness within us.

This episode is in memory of Dr. Susan Sather.
