Today on Living Big Mindfully we are talking about that special relationship with our pets and how Danielle used the power of words and nature in her healing journey.

Danielle is the author of Teida’s Story: Life Through the Eyes of a Dog a touching account of grief, loss, love, and getting through dark times.

Danielle begins with a bit about her story: being bullied as a child, having anxiety, and overcoming her fear of dogs.

Then we move into talking about grief and loss – loss of people and the loss of our beloved pets and how looking to the natural world can help us heal.

Peppered throughout the conversation Danielle shares tips, strategies, and touching sage advice.

It was so lovely to connect with Danielle. She has a kind spirit and a warm heart – which shines through our conversation and her beautiful book - Teida’s Story – which I highly recommend.
