This week on Unleashing, the Nerdologists met up on the information highway to share some info with ya’ll about the upcoming Lego Batman Movie, and to throw some Pop! announcements your way.

Well, everyone is excited for the Lego Batman Movie, and rightfully so, it looks great, but though it’s filled with a slew of classic and popular villains, it gives life to so many new and old ones that people may need some background knowledge going in.

Sorry kiddies, no Joker, Harley Quinn, Catwoman,Penguin, Mr. Freeze, Riddler, Killer Croc, Bane, to Two-Face talk here. No, all of those characters are already iconic, and well known in the minds of both hardcore and casual batfans alike.

No, the Nerdologists were here to introduce you to some of the crazier villains that may or may not be making appearances in the movie. With nothing but the Lego sets, and Lego mystery mini figure sets to go by. Some highlights include, Catman, Zebra-Man, Magpie, the Calculator and Calendar man, among others of course. Some of these minifies have even been collected by our heroes. So for those of you watching the video you get the added treat of feasting your upon their stunning visages

There are a ton of sets out already for the Lego Batman Movie, and so many more coming, not to mention a whole Story Pack and Fun Pack that will tie in to the Lego Dimensions game, that all four of your favorite Nerdologists have.

We’d love to know which if this neophyte nuisances you are all looking forward to finally seeing in action. Or which ones have surprised you with their inclusion.

In their Cherry on Pop! segment the Nerdologists had a fairly light load. Since London Toy Fair it’s been mostly all quiet on the western front with only two real new sets announced. Mass Effect Andromeda and the live action Beauty and the Beast. The BntB also have some mystery minis and pop keychains releasing. And they top it off with a little unboxing, Jamie picked up two new ones, and Ryan got one too. Jamie shows off the White Ranger and Oscar the Grouch, and Ryan picked up the Specialty Series edition of Emma Frost.

Jamie is Nerdology5280 and can be found on Twitter and the other social media sites that matter under that handle. Make sure you check out his YouTube page Nerdology5280. He does all kinds of stuff on there like hosting all the video podcasts we do, movie reviews, unboxing, and Lego let’s builds.

Ryan can be found on Twitter, Tumblr, Instagram and Myspace under @RyanTalksNerdy. He tweets mostly about X-Men, if you can’t tell he’s obsessed. If you are looking for his werewolf story, it will soon (how soon? who knows?) be up on Tumblr.

We would like to thank Razer for all the amazing equipment that they make. It has helped Jamie make better videos and amazing podcasts. Go to the Razer Store to check out all the awesomeness.

Don’t be afraid to unleash your inner nerd!!!!!

PEACE!!!
