Yet another weekly Knerds of the Round Table for your listening pleasure. The two mainstays Jamie and Ryan were back and joined by Dale for the whole episode. The Knerds are still getting used to the intimate confines of Jamie’s Casa de Knerds but made the best of it by playing a quick game of Halo monopoly. You’ll have to tune in next week to see who won.
The conversation started out with some discussions about the Lego Batman Movie, and then they debated which properties they’d like to see get their own lego stylized movie. Turtles, Transformers, a little Alien, (you’re welcome absent meatnerd.) you know, the usual.
Then the convo took a strange turn. The Knerds talked about all kinds of anime. Ryan used to like it quite a bit in his teen years, Jamie is considering getting into it, and Dale stayed fairly ambiguous, though did admit to a history of it. Ryan really recommends all the Studio Ghibli work, and also Mobile Suit Gundam Wing.
About this time the game got pretty heated as the properties began falling off the board and the Knerds shifted their focus inwards for a little while. oh and Ryan tries to set the record straight about Power Rangers and Voltron once and for all, those of you who know, please let him know what he messed up.
They next talk a little about comics and video games, because, of course! Things are finally starting to slow down and two of the Knerds are seeing more time to be playing games again. Let them know what you all are playing.
