Gurneet K. Dhami is a settler of South Asian descent (Panjabi-Sikh) travelling between Kanadario (Ontario) & Mi'kma'ki (Nova Scotia) as she completes her MSc in Applied Human Nutrition at Mount Saint Vincent University. Hannah and Tareq luckily got to chat with her about her diversity and nutrition work! Gurneet shares what drove her to pursue her education as well as her specific research where she is interviewing racialized professionals in dietetics in Canada. Her thesis title is "Re-setting the Table: Exploring the Counter-stories of Racialized Dietitians in Canada". She shares action items with us and we talk about why it's important to research diversity. BS of the Week: Dr. Gundry's attack on lectins and "The Plant Paradox".
