She is a public speaker, indoor cycling instructor, and author of the award-winning book, Type One Determination. Lauren has lived with type 1 diabetes for nearly three decades. Providing knowledge from the perspective of the patient and health care professional, she is a fierce advocate for healthy lifestyle practices.
