The inaugural Pressing The Limits Podcast features Dan John, who performs at elite levels both athletically and in the world of academia.

Dan has achieved as an All-American discus thrower and has also competed at the highest levels of Olympic lifting, Highland Games and the Weight Pentathlon, an event in which he holds the American record.

He spends his work life blending weekly workshops with full-time writing, and, as a Fulbright Scholar, serves as a lecturer of religious studies at both Columbia College of Missouri and St. Mary's University in England.

Dan has written several books, particularly on the subject of weightlifting and strength & conditioning. Multiple works of Mr. John have become Amazon Bestsellers.

In this edition of PTLP, Dan John and Jon Bruney discuss best practices for workouts, what Dan's daily routine looks like, and how a chance encounter as a young boy shaped him into the successful coach, author, trainer, athlete, and mentor he is today.
