With Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years approaching, it's easy to get distracted by the parties, eating, drinking and gift giving, and lose focus on our biggest goals.
If you want to get healthier, leaner, fitter... the time to start is now!
We gave our best tips that allow you to ENJOY every holiday event, while still honoring your body and working toward your goals. You also protect your immune system by focusing on nutrition first (lean proteins and vegetables) before enjoying the high sugar, high fat and calorie dense holiday dishes.
Remember, you cannot out-train diet! Spending an entire day on the treadmill cannot undo the sins of Christmases past.
Be careful not to undo all your hard work from the entire year during the holiday season! And if you're a mom, remember that you are in charge! Just because your mom and your mom's mom served certain dishes at holiday meals, does not mean you have to do the same. Don't be afraid to be different... add a special seafood dish or salad with the traditional dishes and enjoy!
