Ribose is a core part of ATP, our body’s energy molecule

Bioenergy_LifeSc_SM-Y_Color-USE-FOR-LOGOIn this interview, Steve discusses the role of d-Ribose in the body’s energy system with Michael Crabtree. Michael is the technical sales manager for Bioenergy Life Science, the sole supplier of ribose for human consumption.

Michael discusses how and why ribose is foundational for every cell in the body to make energy. This is especially important for athletes who expend huge amounts of energy in order to compete. Taking ribose helps to replenish ATP, leading to faster recovery times. It is also beneficial for the weekend warrior both for increasing energy and for reducing delayed onset soreness that occurs after occasional strenuous physical exertion.
