Elizabeth and her husband Dan have embarked on a mission to support families with special needs children, a journey inspired by their own experiences with special needs parenting and adoption. The first phase focuses on establishing parent and sibling support groups, along with caregiver retreats, providing a much-needed respite and community for those navigating the challenges of special needs parenting. The second phase of the ministry, titled 'Restoration Anchors', aims to create a facility offering vocational training, employment opportunities, and community activities for special needs adults. From horticulture gardens to an automotive repair shop, the facility plans to provide a nurturing and empowering environment for special needs teenagers and adults. As the ministry is in its nascent stages, Elizabeth and Dan are seeking seed funding to formally establish Moment2Moment Ministries as a registered 508c1a faith-based nonprofit organization.
