This is your head instructor Ms. Tonya Michelle Wilkerson speaking from the heart with a motivational message. The month of July is filled with many International and National holidays to celebrate on a daily basis such as National Give Something Away Day. Students, I would like to share with you a few ideas on how to participate in National Give Something Away Day this coming July 15th. First, start looking through your closet, drawers, attic, basement, gargage and shed to find things you just don't use or need anymore. Students, now think about who could use the things you plan on giving away like your friends, family members, next door neighbors and any important charitable organization. There are online websites that you can post free stuff to give away to poeple in need for your particular items that's still in good condition like Freecycle, Craiglist, Nextdoor and Facebook Marketplace. Secondly, If you don't seem to have any free items to give away then think about volunteering your time to an important charitable cause like your local food pantry and homeless shelter.
