In the fourth episode of The Activated Living Podcast, I discuss the 5 dimensions of Self Care. The term "Self Care" has been thrown around a lot in the wellness and health communities, especially since we're still in the beginning months of 2019 and more people want to put their best foot forward. In this episode I discus the mental, emotional, spiritual, physical and social aspects of self care, along with some suggestions and tips to integrate these modalities into your life.

First of all, let’s clearly define the term Self Care: Activities and practices we engage in on a regular basis to reduce stress and enhance our well-being

This was one of the more personal episodes I've done, where I talk about how different dimensions of self care have affected the way I operate and has challenged me in the past. The 5 dimensions of self care include:

  1. Physical
  2. Intellectual
  3. Social
  4. Spiritual
  5. Emotional

Disclaimer: This podcast is purely for informational purposes, I am not a doctor, psychiatrist, nor am I a licensed nutritionist. This information is in no means a way to be supplemented as medical advice. As a holistic wellness practitioner this is my form of sharing – what I believe- is very important and valuable information. However I am not recommending you self diagnose or treat yourself without the help of medical professionals. If you find that you’re suffering from any of the issues or symptoms that I talk about later within the podcast, of course I’d say 100% seek out and consult with your medical practitioner or psychiatrist.
