If we were trapped in a forest, would we rather be stuck with a man or a bear? If you’re a woman, you already know our answer because yours is probably the same: the bear. It’s not that we hate men, but in our experiences, men can be scary, unkind, and unsafe. Every single woman we know has a story about some man acting creepy and aggressive. “No” is never enough of an answer for that type of guy, and there’s always that lingering fear that by telling him no, he’ll get angry and take it out on us. At least the bear will just eat us quickly and be done with it. Of course not every single man is a weirdo or a creep, but the chances of meeting a weirdo creep are high, and unlike bears, they give no warning sign before they decide to hurt us. We’ll take our chances with the bear.

Unwanted attention from men in public [1:20]

Why women choose the bear [5:33]

“No” should be a complete answer [7:51]

Men aren’t listening to us [15:48]

A lack of respectful male role models [17:19]

Our advice to men [18:50]
