As an Art Therapist, Samara strives to provide approachable and creative modalities to allow people to find their inner peace and work with their resources.
Samara is an Art Therapist with an extensive range of experience working with all types of people and communities throughout NYC and NY State. She has worked with school-aged children and teens in different after-school programs, adults with a history of more severe mental health and substance use/addictions in different outpatient settings, to geriatrics in assisted living with dementia.
Samara specializes in facilitating and creating group curriculums for any community and provides an open and comfortable space for all who may need support or seek guidance with central themes such as difficult life transitions, anxiety/depression, expression of moods, relationships, etc.
Samara utilizes painting, DIY crafting, photography, and use of media platforms within my groups and individual sessions.
