Let's talk about something that's been on my mind: self-care and reclaiming your identity.
Seeing a therapist (even if you're not struggling), going to the gym, prioritizing spirituality, eating well, and finding simple pleasures are essential to your well-being.
And that's part of my message in this 5-minute episode.
As someone who works with mental health professionals, I've noticed a concerning trend. Millennial parents are pouring a tremendous amount of energy into their children – more so than any generation before.
While the desire to be a great parent is wonderful, this level of intensity can create some serious problems.
If this resonates with you, I urge you to take a step back for a moment. Here's my challenge for you: For one week, resist the urge to post anything about your children on social media.
Instead, focus on yourself. Post what you like, and rediscover hobbies or find new things that bring you joy.
Click to listen to the full episode and join me on a journey towards self-discovery and mindful living.
