A nutritional biochemist with broad training and extensive background in plant physiology, human nutrition, phytochemistry and nutritional biochemistry, Jed has spent the last 27 years on faculty at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine where he also teaches. He is a multi-decade pioneer in nutritional biochemistry, heading the Cullman Chemoprotection Center to develop plant-based chemoprotective agents.
