On this week's podcast we welcome Jo Clancy. Discovering her neurodiversity with a diagnosis of ADHD in her early 30's, Jo shares her experience of life before and after a diagnosis. She takes us on a journey of her life starting with her many interests; photography, post-carding, traveling, global health work in multiple countries , and so much more. Here energy seems infinite along with her determination to leave the world a better place.
Below is a statement from Jo...
I have had a broad background of careers and interests (ADHD for the win!), working in the Insurance industry, restaurant (front of the house and back), animal industry (ranch manager, horse trainer, zookeeper, exotic animal vet tech), and currently ultrasound. I originally went to college for graphic design and still get a lot of joy from artistic hobbies (photography especially), and later went to veterinary school, with a focus in exotics and wildlife. I used to scuba, rock climb, trail run, ride horses, and now ride a motorcycle, garden, knit, travel and make postcards from my photographs, which I send all over the world in a group called Post crossing. I have volunteered in some capacity for most of my life, giving my mom credit for that passion. I worked as a volunteer for therapeutic riding programs, wildlife rehabilitation, sea turtle conservation, raising money for scholarships at the MSU Wine Festival, and many more.

Looking back at this I can see why I drove my somewhat conventional parents mad! 🙂
