Shannon Hennig is an absolute warrior.
Shannon identifies as a fat fitness coach and has multiple chronic health conditions, including heart failure and type II diabetes! (as well as surviving years of chronic dieting....)
She empowers her clients to believe in themselves, meet and beat their own expectations and to reacquaint themselves with movement and their bodies.
She tells her story and we delve into survival, the joys and benefits of strength training and functional fitness and how we can stop letting diet culture hold us back from truly living in this world.
We talk about recovery after a period of serious illness, the first steps back to strength and how to keep your head up when you are faced with adversity.
