Grammy Winner Renee Fleming has been called the most beautiful soprano voice in the world.
She is one of the most highly acclaimed singers of our time. Honored with five Grammy awards and the US National Medal of Arts. In 2014 she became the first classical artist ever to sing the National Anthem at the Super Bowl.
And in 2023, Renee Fleming became a Kennedy Center Honoree along with Sir Barry Gibb, Billy Crystal, and Dionne Warwick to name a few.
In recent years, Renée has become a leading advocate for research at the intersection of arts, health, and neuroscience. As Artistic Advisor to the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, she launched the first ongoing collaboration between America’s national cultural center and the National Institutes of Health.
In the new book, Music and Mind: Harnessing the Arts for Health and Wellness, she curates a collection of essays from leading scientists, artists, and healthcare providers about the powerful impacts of music and the arts on our health and the human experience.
