The Revolutionary Sistas of the Diaspora are Black and Brown Sistas coming together to discuss topical issues of race, social & economic justice, gender equality and everything in between. This month the sistas tackle the complex landscape of mental health for women of color. Once a taboo topic, some progress has been made, but not enough. We must do a better job of taking care of ourselves and seeking assistance when needed. Our special guest is Dr. Ifetayo Ojelade, Licensed Psychologist and Executive Director of a Healing Paradigm in Atlanta Georgia. Dr. Ojelade works with healthcare, legal, and safety professionals to manage secondary trauma in the workplace. She also has a interest in women leaders of color in high stress roles.
