On this week’s episode of The Fanboy Garage, we’ve pulled together a massive group of listeners and special guests to celebrate the one year anniversary of the podcast.

In the first segment of the show, we are honored to welcome special guests Nathan Odinson, Phil Gooljar and Tavo Borrego to discuss the continued box office dominance of Avengers: Endgame, despite the incredible success of Detective Pikachu, the largest opening weekend for a movie based on a video game.

To close the listener segment, we talk about the newly inked deal between AEW and Turner broadcasting, evolving the wrestling landscape in new and exciting ways.

From there, we welcome Rick Shew of Batman on Film to discuss the latest Star Wars news that Weiss and Benioff of Game of Thrones fame will be responsible for penning the first new film after the end of the Skywalker saga with Episode IX: Rise of Skywalker. In the conversation, we speculate on the future of the franchise post Episode IX before jumping into a brief conversation on the DC franchise; including The Batman.

To close the show, we finally welcome editor-in-chief of Revenge of the Fans, Mario Francisco Robles to talk about the future of the MCU and hopes for the DC universe of films.
