It’s difficult to keep up to date on the Northern Ireland running scene. Every week we take you on a guided tour of races across the land, offer some tips, tricks and anecdotes. This is a community for those who are trying to run their first 5k or run their best ever 5k! I was a very competitive 5k cross country runner in high school, but that was many moons ago! Now I have made my way back to the sport of running in my late 30’s (36 to be exact) with the goal to run my fastest 5k ever by the age of 40. I want to share this journey with you and share my years of experience with racing, injuries and more; to help you become the best runner you can possibly be.

It took us 3 times to get it done, but we finally ran the 22 mile Napali Coast Trail. It poured rain on us, but it ended with an amazingly sunny day, full of rainbows.
