I have shared my philosophy and tips regarding "sharpening the blade" in the past. Many of you have integrated these techniques in your life when the shit hits the fan or you have run yourself into the ground. I think a regularly scheduled sharpening is a much better strategy. A chef doesn't need to cut off their finger while cutting a tomato to recognize the need for a sharper knife. I have some new techniques that I include in my daily routine and add to my quarterly reset where I sharpen all the knives in my knife drawer.
