In this episode we speak to Judy Satish, a Podiatrist in Townsville, who has been practicing for over 40 years - she's a self proclaimed "bossy health professional" from Bundock St Podiatary and learn about warning signs from your feet, that your body may be in distress.

Judy specialises in aged-care and high-risk feet and in this episode speaks about not only early warning signs of diabetes and metabolic syndrome, but discusses her own journey and tips about how her own low carb learnings helped mitigate some of her health challenges.

Judy worked in India focusing on with people with Leprosy, and has spent further time working with Diabetes, & Aged care.

When Judy turned 50, she was diagnosed with stroke level blood pressure and her GP told her to lose weight. She followed Low Carb eating and lost 20 kgs & then another 10 with encouragement of another GP managing to avoid diabetes. Her blood pressure is now in the normal range.

Her work is health education every day as she sees the complications caused by poor dietary advice in her patients.

In this episode, Judy provides an expert, holistic podiatric view of health care using real food, and focusing on looking after your own metabolic health.
