Today’s guest was introduced to Ameé originally through an old high school friend who ran across her products while shopping in New Orleans. At that time, Ameé was wrapping up Season 2 and put the idea in her back pocket for Season 3.

Well then a funny thing happened – Ameé and her guest, who happen to live and do business in the same small Washington town, both end up on a Zoom call discussing an open letter and call to action in the wake of George Floyd’s murder this year and the #BlackLivesMatter movement. And that’s when Ameé said to herself, “Okay – the Universe has linked us together twice now. We gotta do this!”

So, today you will meet Lacie Marsh Carroll – the owner and founder of the Malicious Women Company who makes such amazing candles like “Shit Show.” “I’m sorry my Kid is the Reason You Drink” and “Anxiety Girl.” In this episode you hear how she became an accidental entrepreneur and why she started her business after life dealt her some tremendous blows. Lacie blends business with mental health awareness activism, specifically suicide and suicide prevention awareness.
