Dr. Florian Birkmayer shares his journey from mainstream psychiatry to questioning the profession and witnessing the creation of professional patients. He became frustrated by the use of psychiatric drugs to cover up symptoms and co-founded AromaGnosis. We discuss the harmful effects of labeling and diagnosing mental illness, and the conditioning of society to believe that something is wrong with them. It touches on the importance of cultural traditions and the need for alternative approaches to healing.
