Have you ever wondered why you procrastinate or self-sabotage? Would you like to know how to stop that cycle? Our brains are wonderful things, but sometimes they can get in our way.

Today I'm joined by Janine Wirth, an internationally recognised trauma expert who helps women around the world heal from unresolved trauma and painful experiences. Using a combination of psychotherapy, clinical hypnotherapy and coaching she helps women find their purpose and live life to the fullest.

In this episode we will unpack some of the unhelpful habits we have, the ones which stop us from making the changes that we would love to make. We will analyse those habits from the perspective of childhood conditioning and childhood trauma. What Is Covered:

- How to acknowledge that it is safe to feel your emotions and that your feelings are valid

- Just because you don't recognise something as trauma doesn't mean that it isn’t

- How to stop toxic positivity and value your own experience

- Why you need to forget about willpower and acknowledge that there's something going on beneath the surface that is preventing you from succeeding

- Understanding that your brain wants to keep everything the same, whether that's good or bad, so you can start working through that

- How to parent yourself and learn self-love and self-care

Our childhood conditioning can affect so much of our lives. It affects the way we parent, how we show up in relationships, how successful we are, how willing we are to do workouts, to practice self-care and good nutrition. By understanding that, we can begin to work towards our purpose of creating success in all aspects of our lives.
