Raya and Stephen are wrapped up snug on a bitter autumn day in Podcast Towers, and as ever the conversation is 'all about the bike'.

Staring forlornly at the sodden roads, Stephen discusses his last big 'challenge' of 2018, which will be his longest and hardest ride yet.

Included in that is the hurdle of which London bridge a cyclist should use to cross, and before you know it the Pod has the lowdown on cycling and bridges. Which one are you most likely to die on? We couldn't wait to find out either.

Of course, if tunnels is more your thing, then the Pod can reveal the only legal way a bicycle can cross the Thames on a motorway. It's little known, and it'll blow your mind.

Elsewhere, Raya gets a surge of maternal pride as Stephen hints he might make that transition to actual road cyclist, as he gets himself an essential piece of Roadie gear he's put off for 5 years. And he discusses the idea of a smart bike computer, in a pathetic attempt to try and talk Raya into buying him one for Christmas.

And finally, we have our big topic: Coaching. Regular nominee for Coach of the Year, Will Usher, joins us in the studio to discuss cycle coaching; from training, to diet, to psychological hurdles, the route to being the best version of you is laid bare. This is the expert consultation every cyclist calls out for, and it's free, right here, in this Pod. Can you afford to not listen?

Oh and of course there's the kitbag and the Velominati being as pompous as ever (and this one is particularly 'spinctrally embedded').

Aaaaand Stephen becomes a Maserati. Thanks, overly ostentatious branding!
