Lindsey Doolittle - Recovering from Religion & Suicide Loss
TW: Today we will be discussing issues related to suicide
Lindsey Doolittle was introduced to me as a documentary film maker who recently focussed her lens on Dr. Darrel Ray’s work at Recovering from Religion (see below for more information on this documentary).
In speaking with Lindsey, I learned that she has a powerful story of her own to share. The following excerpt is from her website www.AboveTheRug.com : Lindsey Doolittle is an art educator, children’s author, artist to the Faces After Suicide exhibition, and an Award-Winning independent filmmaker. Her advocacy began shortly after her late husband, Sgt. Brett Doolittle of the Kansas City, Kansas Police Department, died by suicide in 2015.
