In 2015, Rick and his partner Melissa Core launched Dead Horse Branding, a comprehensive creative management company. Combining Rick's artistic direction with Melissa's marketing prowess, Dead Horse Branding offers a range of services, from graphic design to brand management.

Rick's art direction played a pivotal role in the creation of the award-winning coffee table book, "Elvis: Strait to Jesus," for legendary music producer Tony Brown. His involvement in documenting the history of modern country music showcases his ability to transcend traditional boundaries and create impactful projects.
