Hey rebels, welcome to the Mind Body podcast! I'm your host, Maria, and today we have a special guest, Jill Robin Payne, MA, LPC-S, LCDC. We'll discuss the value of staying true to oneself, even if it means going against the norm, and conclude the episode with a discussion on the importance of thinking outside the box and embracing different viewpoints.
Jill is a licensed professional counselor-supervisor and a licensed chemical dependency counselor who is also certified in equine-assisted psychotherapy (EAGALA).
She appears frequently on radio commenting on the intersection of current events and social psychology. She has also appeared numerous times on local television, both national television and radio.
During her over 40 years of work experience in the mental health field, she has given numerous lectures and has taught college-level behavior modification as an adjunct professor.
Jill emphasizes the need for self-awareness and emotional regulation in a world where many people struggle with stress and anger. She provides practical tips for managing emotions and encourages people to seek help when needed.
