One of the common challenges introverts tell me they face is in communication.
We want to be better at communicating with others, including making conversation, whether it's at a social gathering, networking event, or at work.
Perhaps the real problem is not that we are not good communicators, but that there are differences between how introverts like to communicate, and how we are expected to communicate so as to conform nicely within the social expectations of our professional networks, friend and family groups, workplaces, and schools.
Tune in as I share two ways to make it easier on yourself when conversing with others.
Note: In this episode, you will hear me use a Chinese phrase: "调整你的状态" (tiao zheng ni de zhuang tai) which translated means "adjust or regulate your state".
Thanks for listening!
