Ricky came into the studio where we discussed his earlier life including his success in kickboxing, losing his father and becoming a father himself, his career in the hospitality industry and going onto founding Industry Boxing Events.
He talks to us about how IBE came about, which he founded alongside Ben Brown, and holding true to the 3 pillars of health & well-being, fitness & togetherness that are at the core of the event.
Established in 2017 the event has now raised approximately £100,000, for over 80 charities.
As well as the charity fundraising aspect, of the event, we examine the many positive impacts the event has upon the health & mental well-being of the participants.
