Toby Wiltshire joined us in the studio to talk to us about Mindfulness. What is Mindfulness, how to practise and what can be achieved by maintaining a regular practice in regard to mental well being.
Discovering Mindfulness during a hedonistic period in his life, Toby was introduced to the work of Jon Kabat-Zinn by a friend after a series of traumatic bereavements. Through regular practice he found meaning, stillness and relief from anxiety, depression and insomnia.
Toby has now studied and practised meditation for over 15 years and has become a Mindfulness Now registered and accredited mindfulness meditation teacher. He qualified as a Mindfulness teacher in 2021 from the UK College of Mindfulness and Meditation.
We talk about the attitudes of Mindfulness, the various Mindfulness meditations and the many benefits of maintaining a Mindfulness practice.
*During this recording Toby led us in a short Mindfulness practice, we do not recommend taking part in this practice unless in an area, and at a time where appropriate.
