Have you heard of the Dysphoric Milk Ejection Reflex? This episode will go into the details of this little known condition, which is the experience of feeling an intense surge of depression or dysphoria or just general feeling low for the first few seconds or couple of minutes of milk letdown that happens either during pumping or breastfeeding, and can have consequences for mom and baby.
