In relationships, communication is EVERYTHING. This episode, communication guru, Jacque Tyrrell shares VERY practical strategies for how to communicate well - including arguing well! She has acronyms and "playlists" and references to football that will keep you engaged and able to remember her tips during your next conflict. This episode has so many #thingsyoulearnintherapy
Here's a bit more about Jacque:
I am a licensed social worker and I am skilled in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), coaching, communication skills, and mindset. I really enjoy teaching the "why" and "how" of things and have a knack for using relatable similes and metaphors. Overall, I have 10 years combined experience working within the human service field as an agent of change, serving youths and their families as an advocate, mentor, and coach. As a change agent, I have worked as a behavior interventionist and skill builder with at-risk youth, a case manager of teens with disabilities preparing them for life after school, a resource broker for families and communities, and three years so far as a practicing therapist. I am honored to have been apart of so many journeys and I hope to keep seeing the awesome work people put into themselves and others!
