Today we all have lifestyles that cause imbalances to the pelvic area. Things like driving a car, handling heavy groceries, sitting a baby on our hip & even just some of the ways we stand and sit all play a role in causing imbalances. Some women start to notice the effects of this during pregnancy with discomfort or they show through during birth.

In today’s episode, Caitlin is joined by Amy. A registered midwife for 10+ years, Amy also helps women with pregnancy and postpartum, yoga and pilates and runs workshops on body balance, where you focus on the physical preparation for an easier and more progressive birth, encouraging the body to find balance for a desired birth. Caitlin and Amy talk about what body balancing is, what can cause imbalances and how to correct it.
