Regan Huckaby is a 4x CrossFit Games Athlete. In 2019 she finished 3rd in the world on Team Invictus. She has competed twice at the CrossFit Games as an individual and two times on a team. Her CrossFit career is even more impressive as she is one of the only competitors to also have a family of 4 in her corner. Being a mom, wife, and professional athlete is not easy. The long hours of training, world travel, and intense schedule make her 2019 trip to the podium even more impressive. We sat down with Regan at the One Ton Challenge at Mr. Olympia in Las Vegas, NV to talk training, world, travel and family on her way to a fifth CrossFit Games.

In this episode of Barbell Shrugged, Anders Varner and Doug Larson discuss:

Why perfect movement matters

The CrossFit season and traveling the world

Finding a coach that makes you the best athlete you can be

Why your training partners matter

Juggling training, family, and being a professional CrossFit athlete

And more…
