Erin go bragh, listeners! For Saint Patrick's Day this year, we found our own Saint Patrick - acclaimed Chicago film critic Patrick McDonald - and brought him on to help us talk about 2014's animated Song of the Sea! Tomm Moore's followup to his 2009 masterpiece The Secret of Kells, Song of the Sea draws upon the Celtic myth of the 'selkie,' a mischievous seal-like nymph, to tell the story of a lost boy looking for his mute selkie sister. From its incredible animation style to its mythic storytelling, it's one to check out (especially if you've got Amazon Prime). Take a listen and scope out our custom cocktail and drinking game!
