Sit back, relax and tune into what your body is trying to tell you. Body Scan meditation is a great tool for athletes to tap into any areas of the body that are holding onto stress, tension, tightness or pain. We often don't pay attention to our body until we have pain or discomfort. This meditation will allow you to tap into you body and notice where you are holding stress in your body. We also tend to hold onto negative emotions that we often forget to let go of. When emotions and stress get lodged in the body we can release them by being AWARE of what is happening and by BREATHING into those spaces. ๐ŸŒฑ
