An avid biohacker who grew up in the Netherlands, Johannes Egberts is a certified Wim Hof Method (WHM) instructor currently based in Australia. Johannes is also a certified Oxygen Advantage instructor, freediving instructor, yoga teacher, Movement Coach and a Youth Mentor.

A self described health nut, Johannes has been drawn to learning and practicing a wide range of holistic philosophies and approaches to self-care, and has found WHM to be one of the most powerful and available tools to achieve health, happiness and strength. Having studied a range of eastern and western modalities, he combines his broad experience to help his students translate theory into practice.

We discuss;

  1. How learning this breathing technique has actually brought about community, self expression and living from the heart.
  2. Breathing techniques help to regulate the nervous system in times of stress, anxiety or heightened emotional experiences
  3. Exposure therapy and why cold showers, ice baths and walking around in your bathers in the snow isn’t actually that crazy.
