This episode features our guest, Jill Miller - a pioneer in forging links between fitness, yoga, athletics, massage, and pain management for over 30 years.

- Through her body to feel her way out
- Pain in her gut and reconnecting to her emotions
- The topic of touch as a trauma survivor
- Gentle touch to enter parasympathetic nervous system
- Chronic stress is catabolic
- Learning how to tolerate the parasympathetic for survivors who have a hard time slowing down and/or resting
- The 5 P's of her program = perspective (shifting mindset), place, pace of breath, position, and palpation
- Trauma eats away at the wellbeing and why you must recalibrate
- "All of me is welcome here"
- Practical steps for survivors who find body and breath work triggering -- starting with hands & feet (global response but grounding and safety)
- Self-massage
- A little movement begats a little more movement
- It's a process
