My guest this week has asked to remain anonymous. They'd like to remain anonymous, but they are also a podcast host. The guest today runs a podcast called Overcoming Compulsive Hoarding with That Hoarder podcast. It's a hugely insightful interview and conversation that we have today, where the guest talks through her experience of developing hoarding disorder, right from being a young child, her journey through mental health services, what's helped, what's been difficult, how she's been supported by friends, the shame that she experiences around her hoarding, and how it's been dramatised in the TV industry, and with the documentaries and programmes that are out there.

This is a very real conversation and very educational for therapists working out there in the field, or for us generally, to get a really good perspective of what hoarding is, how it impacts the person and how we can support people with hoarding. I certainly got a lot to think about from this episode and I know you will, too.

You can find my guest's podcast at www.overcomecompulsivehoarding.co.uk/
