Send us a text … these are the hardest episodes for me to share but mean the most 2024 was a crazy, unexpected, entirely “off the path of a normal” year for me. There were moments of extreme humbling. It was difficult. There were times I felt more alone than I had in years. I questioned so many things about myself. It tested me in ways I didn't think I was prepared for. It taught me lessons I didn't know I needed to learn. It was hard and uncomfortable but also very, very FUN! What I didn't see coming- and what I tackled this year - was a season of growing. A year of learning lessons and finding a way to root myself in a new me. I didn't see it coming- but I am incredibly glad it happened. This year, I tapped into · Grit that I never knew I had · Mindset that I thought would waver but didn't · And a reality that life is about being present and showing up as me- authentically me - and when I did that, it equated to showing up for everyone around me in a new and better way as well. Today I'm sharing my very vulnerable lessons from 2024 in the hope they help spark something for you that helps you in your journey too. · How I rewrote the script for the voice in my head · How I redefined the power of my circle · How I dove deeper and found my grit. So today, we're talking about the gut/hormone connection because when your gut gets wonky so do your hormones. Your hormones will never be balanced if you have underlying digestive and gut issues. Gut health as it relates to hormone balance is my biggest passion, from personal experience as well as for my clients. Send us a text August of last year (episode 11), I started conversations with our guest today, Nurse Practitioner Paula Carlton about her 5 “must haves” for embracing everything it means to be a woman. In episode 15 she shared her insight on Embracing Sensuality In episode 18 we talked about the importance of Emotional and Physical Strength Today, we have a beautiful conversation around Satisfaction. The importance of becoming satisfied with where we are at in our lives at any given point along the way. In particular, around menopause and how important this transitional time is to recognize what satisfies us and what may no longer serve us. Paula’s heartfelt words, wisdom, and insight hit home for me in a powerful way in this episode. Send us a text Mindset Goal: Stay in a place that supports being comfortable in the skin and the body I am in. This is what I’m working on these days. Some days I nail it, other days- epic fail! That’s the truth. In this podcast I get raw and real about my struggle to keep moving towards a life of balance, peace and “healthy”. I am working hard to get to a place of being so proud and absolutely okay with exactly where I am at. Creating and living by a mindset of “Healthy” that works for me…feeds my soul….fuels my body and helps me show up as my best self - that is powerful - and it is entirely on me! Embracing my scars, my imperfections and everything about me that makes me….me. Life doesn't stand still and just because something worked in the past doesn’t mean it’s meant to work going forward. Change can be hard because it’s unknown, but new adventures can be incredibly exciting!
